My Every Day Make-Up Routine.

I love reading other posts about every day make up and routines, so I thought I’d add my own. I go for a more natural look day to day, and I don’t have a lot of time to get myself ready so it’s a really quick and simple one from me.

Skincare.
Every day I cleanse with Garnier Skin Active Micellar Water. I follow this with a quick swipe of Lacura Toner and then moisturise with Oil of Olay Beauty Fluid. I don’t really use a primer, mainly because I don’t have one at the moment.

Base.
I use Bourjois Healthy mix foundation in No52 – Vanilla. I love this foundation, it has a light feel to it but it gives me a good, even coverage. I really like the colour and it’s affordable too. I only use one pump per application so it lasts forever.

Occasionally I’ll use No7 Stay Perfect Superlight Foundation in Cool Vanilla. It has SPF15 so it’s better for days in the sun, and it’s a really nice colour on me but it’s not my go to foundation because it can make my skin look a bit shiny.

I’ve been using the Maybelline The Eraser Eye concealer in Light. It’s a really lovely smooth formula that does a cracking job at hiding my dark circles (thanks kids). I do have to make sure I really rub it in though otherwise it settles in to my under eye creases.

Contouring & Blush.

I have the Sleek Contour Kit in Light 884. I only use the contour powder day to day, and I save the highlighter for nights out etc. I find it’s really easy to blend and it’s fairly subtle. No one wants to walk around looking like they’ve smudged marmite up their face. This doesn’t do that, so it’s good in my opinion.

I was using the Benefit Dandelion blush. I absolutely love it and I’ve loved it since I was about 18. I’m quite fair and It suits my colouring perfectly, plus it’s a really nice formula and stays on all day. I’m now using Natural Collection’s Blushed Cheeks in Pink Cloud until I can justify blowing £24.50 on a blusher again.

Eyes.

I use the Urban Decay Naked Basics pallette and mix up which colours I use on my eyelids pretty regularly. There’s only 6 shades so there’s only so much you can do, but they all blend together nicely and you can create some really lovely natural looks using them. I love Urban Decay eyeshadows. They’re pricey but they have brilliant staying power and the shades are always beautiful.

I then line my eyes with Rimmel’s Soft Kohl pencil and use Maybelline Great Lash in Blackest Black to finish off.

I use the Natural Collections Brow Kit for my eyebrows. It comes with a brown wax and a brown powder and the colours work perfectly for me. It’s also super cheap, so well worth checking out.

Lips.

I have a variety of lipsticks that I wear on a daily basis. My favourite is MUA in shade 14. It’s my perfect ‘My lips but better’ shade, and I really like formula. It’s not drying, It lasts well and it’s only £1! I also use Mac Satin in Twig and L’Oreal Color Riche Matte in Erotique 640.

What is your daily make-up routine? Do you have any products that you buy again and again?
